Social Worker for Children and Youth

About the Position

We are now expanding our group with an additional team member! Your role as a social worker involves investigating cases concerning children and youth based on reports, as well as possibly following up on approved interventions.

The children and youth group includes eight additional social workers, a senior social worker, a family home secretary, and a comprehensive open care team that collaborates closely with each other. Recently, the open care team was also expanded to work more preventively and meet the new social services act. We also have a support team that includes functions such as SAS (socially responsible coordinator), business developers, and system administrators.

The social services in Tidaholm municipality are characterized by cohesion and care for one another. Currently, all existing positions are filled, and our perception is that staff turnover is low. Accessibility, clarity, and support from immediate management, as well as from colleagues, are values that received top ratings in the latest employee survey. We continuously work to monitor workload to contribute to a sustainable workload over time, which is a very important parameter for employee satisfaction.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work or another education that the employer deems equivalent. We also expect you to have experience in public authority work within children and youth in municipal social services.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
